The Currahee Club is located in the beautiful historic town of Toccoa, Georgia and is approximately 85 miles northeast of Atlanta or approximately 62 miles south of Greenville, South Carolina, just minutes off I-85 at Exit 173 on Lake Hartwell.
Directions
From Atlanta:
Take I-85 North to I-985 North at Suwannee. I-985 will become GA 365. From GA 365, take the GA 17 exit toward Toccoa. Continue straight on GA 17 until it dead-ends at GA 17 Alternate (Big A Road), where you turn left. At the second red light, go just past the Stephens Federal Bank on your right, turn right onto onto Oak Valley Road. Follow Oak Valley Road for 6 miles to the Currahee Club. The Welcome Center will be directly in front of you at the four-way stop.
From Greenville:
Take I-85 South toward Atlanta. After crossing into Georgia, take Exit 173 toward Toccoa/Lavonia. Turn Left toward Toccoa onto GA-17, go approximately 10 miles. Turn Right onto Whispering Pines Drive, (look for white wooden fence) travel approximately 2 miles. Whispering Pines will become Rock Creek/GA-336, travel less than 1 mile. Turn Left onto S Red Rock Rd. go approximately 1 mile. Turn Right onto Oak Valley Road and continue for approximately 3 miles. The Currahee Club Welcome Center will be straight ahead at the 4-way stop.
From Highlands/Cashiers area in NC:
Take NC Highway 106 South to US Highway 441. Turn left onto Highway 441 toward Georgia. Stay on 441 South until you reach GA 365/17 and turn toward Toccoa. Stay on GA 17 until it dead ends at GA 17 Alternate (Bid A Road), where you turn left. At the second red light, go just past the Stephens Federal Bank on your right, turn right on Oak Valley Road. Proceed 6 miles to Currahee Club Welcome Center adjacent to the Main Entrance at the end of Oak Valley Road and straight across at the 4-way stop.
